Can our babysitter come the day before to become acquainted with the children?
Unfortunately, no. The babysitters are quite busy, and we can not ask them to jeopardize a full night or day of work. Your babysitter will call you, via WhatsApp to introduce themselves, which also allows you to get to know them before they arrive. An alternative option if you would like extra time to spend acclimating your children to the babysitter is to schedule an earlier start time.
Does Tama Babysit care for children with special needs and learning disabilities?
Yes, please call to give extra information about your child so I can place a babysitter who is well suited to care for them.
How dose Tama Babysit find your sitters?
We are very thankful to have had word of mouth from great babysitters telling their friends, as well as many sitters who come back year after year.
Dose Tama Babysit do background checks?
Being in Costa Rica we are unable to do this, but we do meet every sitter and check references We send a survey after your sit. All sitters currently with us have perfect or near perfect ratings.
Dose Tama Babysit care for sick children?
NO. Our babysitters are around so many children and will lose work if they contract any illness while babysitting sick kids.
What policies dose Tama Babysit have?
We have a 3-hour minimum, as well as a 24-hour cancellation policy to protect the babysitters, their time and commitment to work for you.
Dose Tama Babysit have a daycare center?
We do not operate a facility, all babysitting takes place at the location or residence where you are staying.
